Terms and Conditions for ChatIntro

1. Acceptance of the Terms

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ChatIntro mobile application, web site and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By downloading, installing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use ChatIntro. If you are using the Services on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Modifications to the Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date above and may provide notice through the Services. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

3. User Conduct and Use Restrictions

By using ChatIntro you agree to:

  1. Use the Services responsibly. You will not use ChatIntro for any unlawful, fraudulent or malicious purpose; to solicit personal information from minors; or to transmit spam, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, defamatory, obscene or otherwise objectionable content.

  2. Respect others. You agree not to impersonate anyone else, threaten or harass other users, post personal data about others without consent, or otherwise violate the legal rights of others.

  3. Comply with applicable laws. You are responsible for complying with all laws and regulations that apply to your use of the Services.

4. User‑Generated Content

ChatIntro allows you to upload, post or transmit text, images, audio and other content (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content but grant ChatIntro a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free licence to host, store, display and distribute it as necessary to operate the Services.

By submitting User Content, you warrant that:

  • You have all necessary rights to provide and authorise the use of the User Content; and

  • The User Content does not infringe any third‑party rights (including intellectual‑property rights) and does not contain any illegal, obscene, pornographic, defamatory, harassing or otherwise objectionable material.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of posting it. We do not pre‑screen all User Content, but we reserve the right to remove or modify User Content for any reason (including if it violates these Terms or we believe it may be objectionable) and to suspend or terminate your access.

4.1 Content Moderation and Filtering

In accordance with Apple’s App Store guidelines, apps with user‑generated content must include a method for filtering objectionable material from being posted to the appdeveloper.apple.com. ChatIntro implements automatic and manual filters to detect and block objectionable content, including profanity filters and community‑standard checks. While we strive to maintain a safe environment, no filtering system is perfect and we cannot guarantee that all objectionable content will be blocked.

4.2 Reporting Mechanism

If you encounter content or behaviour that you believe violates these Terms, you may report it using the “Report” function within the app or by emailing report@chatintro.com. Apple’s guidelines require that apps provide a mechanism to report offensive content and respond in a timely mannerdeveloper.apple.com. We will review all reports within 24 hours and, if appropriate, remove the content and take further action (including suspension or termination of the offending account).

4.3 Blocking Abusive Users

The Services provide an option for you to block another user so that they can no longer contact you. This satisfies Apple’s requirement that apps offer the ability to block abusive usersdeveloper.apple.com. Once blocked, the user will not be able to send you messages or view your profile. Repeat offenders may have their accounts suspended or terminated.

4.4 No Tolerance for Objectionable Content or Abusive Users

By using the Services you understand and agree that ChatIntro has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. We may remove any User Content at our discretion and may ban or eject users who provide such content. Decisions are final and may be made without notice.

5. Accounts and Security

You may need to create an account to use certain features of ChatIntro. You agree to provide accurate and complete information, and to update it if it changes. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we believe it has been used in a manner that violates these Terms.

6. Third‑Party Content and Services

ChatIntro may link to or integrate with third‑party websites, apps or services that are not owned or controlled by ChatIntro. We are not responsible for the content or practices of any third‑party services and your use of those services is at your own risk.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

ChatIntro is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties (express or implied) about the Services, including that they will meet your requirements, be secure, or be available without interruption. Use of the Services is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChatIntro (and its directors, officers, employees and affiliates) will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, special or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Services. Our aggregate liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed one hundred US dollars (US $100).

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold ChatIntro and its affiliates harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
